The festival is held annually as a tradition that has been inherited for long time. The local residents and tourists can enjoy the fresh seafood which Rayong is famous for. There are also Miss Pla Phayun beauty pageant, cultural performances, sport competitions, music contest, celebrity football match, comedy, alcazar, light and sound presentation. All festival goers will have chance to get lucky draw prices, you will have to keep the stub of the ticket.

The fruit farmers present their best fruits on sale. There are as well local products from housewife groups. Fruit competition, Miss Fruit Orchard beauty pageant, motocross competition, fruit eating competition, papaya salad cooking competition, housewives’ singing competition, students’ dancing competition and cultural performances all happen in the festival. In addition, fruit plantation visit is arranged everyday for visitor to taste the fruit right in the plantation.

Held on 26 June annually to commemorate the Thailand’s great poet Sunthon Phu, the royal poet in the reign of King Rama II, the fair features light and sound presentation, fountain with light and sound presentation with the recitation of the poet’s biography. There are also Sunthorn Phu’s characters costume competition, exhibition, students’ poem competition, impromptu poem competition and inexpensive local products from 4 provinces in the eastern region.

This fun and frolic festival aims to prevent drug abuse. There will be a galore of food stalls, concert and a variety of competitions, namely cooking, dancing, mountain bike, motocross, Thai boxing, water boxing, local sport competitions, beauty pageants of ladies and lady boys. There is also beauty pageant for best decorated and well-groomed buffaloes. The festival starts from 04.00 pm at Baan Pluak Daeng school’s field.

Thot Pha Pa Klang Nam (Waterborne Robe Offering Ceremony)
When: November on the same day as Loy Krathong
Where: The pier at Fisherman’s Club, Tambol Paknam Prasae, Amphoe Klang
Held at the same period as Loy Krathong in November, Thot Pha Pa Klang Nam ceremony has been practiced over century by the residents who live near the pier. The residents prepare the offering for the monks, place on the boat in the river. Afterwards the monks are invited to take the offerings.

Where: Phra Chedi Klang Nam, Tambol Paknam, Amphoe Muaeng
The annual tradition is held to revere the chedi located on an islet in the middle of Rayong River. The ceremony includes changing the robe that is used to wrap around the chedi. During this period, there are as well festivities such as boat racing, entertainment and Loy Krathong at night.

This 5-day festival is held under the theme “Colourful Rayong” featuring a variety of competitions and performances such as triathlon, marathon, music competition, beauty pageant, competition on knowledge of squid, boat trip around Koh Samet, entertainment from comedians, singers, celebrities and more than 120 seafood stalls and local products. There are activities to promote environment conservation on 6 December.
