Rayong, Koh Samet [ระยอง] is a small beautiful island off the coast of Rayong province. The beach not far from Bangkok, just 2 hours 30 minute by bus and 30 – 40 minute by ferry. The island is famous for its magnificent beaches and for the well-known Thai poet, Sunthornpuh, who wrote poetry about this place.
