Eastern Star Golf Course
Eastern Star Golf Course
Golf Course The excellent 18 hole Link-style course at Eastern Star was designed and built in 1991 by Robert Trent Jones, Jr., This pleasant layout has four sets of tees and measures only 6,100 yards from the yellow markers, but stretches to 7,134 from the champion tee. The emphasis here is not so much on trees as obstacles, but bunkers; 69 in total. Basically a thinking mans course, it features sandy terrain, water along the fairways and numerous dog-legs. The par four holes are not overly long, which makes for enjoyable golf. The clubhouse amenities are good, and there is also a swimming pool, tennis court and a sports complex. The hotels of Jomtien beach and Pattaya are not far from the club.

Emerald Golf Club
Emerald Golf Club
The Emerald is a genuine country golf course with excellent course conditions and quality services. Its clubhouse and other facilities are by no means excessively luxurious, but full of warmth and friendliness in the tradition of the Thai rural lifestyle. The Emerald is a veritable work of art by two well-know golf architects. "Nick Faldo" and the late "Desmond Muirhead". The18-hold world-class design is carved through a pristine rain forest of full-grown trees that still provide sanctuary to a variety of native birds. The gentle, yet stunning countours of the fairways, the volcanic-like greens and the subtle water placements all combine to make the Emerald one the most challenging golf courses in Thailand.

The course has four sets of tees, varying from the ladies' tees at 5,150 yards to the demanding championship tees at 6,910 yards. Each hole offers a challenge to the professional and beginner alike. Sculpted in a magnificent setting on the banks of the Dok Krai reservoir, players enjoy cooling breezes off the adjacent body of water. Apart from water, there are 120 strategically- placed bunkers for the golfer to contend with. Eleven of these bunkers can be found on the long par four eighteenth, which requires two perfectly struck shorts to reach the putting surface. Hotel and clubhouse facilities are of the highest standard.

Rayong Green Valley
Rayong Green Valley Country Club
This beautifully landscaped course set in attractive countryside is a delight to play. The layout features a profusion of flora and large rocks. Lodged on the side of a hill, the rocky outcrops and boulders pose additional hazards. Bunkers have been used very intelligently, inviting the good golfer to drive over them, whilst the lesser player has plenty of room to lay up. There are some very cunning dog-leg holes to complete the challenge. There is a fine clubhouse, Polo club and equestrian track. Houses and a condominium overlook the golf course.

St. Andrews 2000
Designed by the estimable, flamboyant and whimsical Desmond Muirhead, the par-74 St.Andrews2000, was created with a sweeping Scottish link-look over 7,540 yard of picturesque, rolling countryside. The links-style, out-and-back course in highlighted by the 700-yeard 4th and 910-yard 13th with huge tiered-greens set amidst bunkers and water.

Although outsized in length the course has balance (subtracting the excessive par-6 yardage, the course would measure less than 7,200 yards) and plays at an accessible 6,800 and 6,300 yard from the two mid-tees. The par-3s average less than 195 yards except for the prodigious 240 yards 17th (handicapped 6). The par 4 travel from 327 to 488 yards and offer a great range of golf shots.

St. Andrews Hill 2000 is named in honor of the venerable St.Andrews in Scotland. St.Andrews Hill 2000 is located in picturesque hilly countryside in the south-eastern Thai province of Rayong, just over half an hour's drive from the famous seaside resort of Pattaya.

Wangjuntr Golf Park
Wangjuntr Golf Park
Nestled by the hills and the rainforest of Wangjuntr, in a historically rich province of Rayong, Wangjuntr Golf Park lies quietly in what might be the utmost natural setting of any Thai golf course. Wangjuntr, or the Moon Palace in Thai translation, was once a habitat of the undisturbed natural world, seen only through the eyes of pacifying moonlight. Along the road to civilization, however, this tranquil residence of wildlife was gradually encroached and destroyed, leaving the area lifeless. Wangjuntr Golf Park arises from an inspiration that human, nature and animals would once again coexist in harmony. Today, one of the most spectacular championship golf courses is ingeniously designed, developed and depicted into the picturesqueness of the natural world. It is here, at Wangjuntr, that human nurtures and returns animals to their innocence.

It is here, at Wangjuntr, that a fabric of life is woven and displayed on the golf course. You will discover the most serene coexistence of nature and golf, only at Wangjuntr Golf Park.
